Beyond the Pinch: Restoring Muscle Coordination for Cricket Bowlers

The Anatomy of a Bowler's Shoulder

In Dubai’s competitive cricket scene, overhead delivery is the most demanding movement for the shoulder joint. When you raise your arm for a delivery, the space within the joint narrows. If the muscles aren't coordinated, your tendons are literally being trapped and damaged.

Our Clinical Restoration Protocol

To return to the pitch with full power, we focus on two critical mechanical resets:

  1. Scapular Rhythm (Wall Angels): This exercise ensures your shoulder blade rotates correctly to maximize joint space.

  2. Rotator Cuff Stability (Shoulder ER): External rotation exercises train the cuff to keep the joint centered during high-speed abduction.

The Importance of Early Intervention

"Small pains often lead to bigger problems." Ignoring that initial sharp pinch can lead to chronic inflammation or full tendon tears.
